I've seen stories formatted a few different ways in the workshop. Is there a formatting standard that I can go by? Any templates?

Thanks!

I've seen a few stories that seem to double-tab the first sentence of every paragraph. Any idea why?

I use Scrivener for my formatting. It gives you a pre-formatted title page you just plug the info into. It even calculates the word total when you compile it. I think that's where the double-tab could come from, too; it automatically did that to me a few times. I don't think it's proper formatting to double-tab.

I use Shunn too, like Davery. But I have never tried Scrivener.

"like Davery"

Yeah, please don't let this die people.  This is as close to a celeb name as i will ever get.  I need this, to feed my serial killer like need to be remembered...

You need to be Re-Membered™ a propos of Shya Scanlon's Forecast.

Davery’s Jumblie Circus™

That reminds me, I am taking my niece and nephew to Cirque du Soleil this month.

Wait, if we keep calling you Davery, does that mean you'll stop killing prostitutes and wearing a leather jacket made from the dried foreskin of bums?  Because no one wants that.

Killing bums for foreskin is no longer necessary. There is plenty of replenishable foreskin available through more humane processes.

Fleshlocks™ are now available.

Chester, be honest, did you just figure out how to make the little trademark symbol?

I am a horrible formatter, so I have no reliable input on this thread. In fact, I am about to click that link.
