This weeks movie discussion will be on 2011 film "The Hunter" starring Willem Dafoe. It's currently streaming on Netflix. Enjoy!

Yeah,

I rather liked this one, didn't know too much about apart from the always watchable Dafoe being in it. Slightly different to the norm with the theme and the setting.

SPOLIER AHEAD!!!

I think my fave scene was when Dafoe's character fixes the genertor and the house he's staying at and all the lights come on and the music. Waking up the drugged up landlady thinking it's her husbands come home. When it got to that point I was pretty much sold.

All I can say is this one warmed, and then broke my heart. I can't ask more out of a movie.

I'm watching these all retroactively when time permits. So I watched this one this weekend. I thought it was pretty darn good.

Dino, my sentiments exactly.

Dave, I loved that scene as well. The end is quite powerful a moving too(I'm reffering to the scene with the tiger not the scene at the school though that was touching too).

I loved the kids in this movie. Such great acting for little people. Especially the girl, what a spunky character very well executed. And for the boy to never speak and deliver so much emotion. Kudos!

I can't believe this one didn't generate more discussion, I'd recommend it to anyone arround these parts, it's just the type of tradgedy that I'm used to reading in these parts.
