I really don't watch TV.  I like National Geographic, educational or informative type shows.  The only series I follow are Walking Dead and Fringe.

All the cop shows, Big Bang Theory, How I Met Your Mother, Whitney, Being Human, Ultimate Fighter, Grimm, Once Upon a Time, Hell's Kitchen, and a few others.

I may actually have time to write after watching my shows.

@Joseph

I've been wanting to get into Being Human.

I saw the Brit version first and now with this one. Some differences, but overall I like it.

Unless you want to be human and in that case I can relate.

Shameless is pretty out there and graphic. Sometimes its too much for me.

Alien. I can't believe Shameless was/is too much for you. Didn't you write the story about a girl gnawing off some dude's shaft?

aliensoul77's picture
aliensoul77 from a cold distant star is reading the writing on the wall. February 21, 2012 - 7:00pm

Hahaha. Well, I watch it, it just shocks even me. So much full frontal male nudity is surprising and the storylines are pretty out there. Six Feet Under was like that too though.

Vonnegut Check's picture

Man, the series finale of Six Feet was brutal, though honest.

@ RMS and Joseph Day,  did you guys watch The Wire?  I'm on season four. Love it.

Is Baltimore really like that?

Vonnegut Check's picture
Vonnegut Check from Baltimore February 21, 2012 - 9:45pm

Nick, I've never watched The Wire and also i was born and raised in the suburbs of Baltimore. However, I worked with quite a few dudes who lived in the city and said the show was spot on. Baltimore is mocked as "the city that bleeds." My experiences in the city never consisted of anything terrible. Just some vagrants and drug dealers and the occasional crackhead and crackhead hooker. The stuff I assume most cities are made of.

@Ryan--season two jody dude, ten inch dick and he is always walking aroud naked with his schlong hanging about.  That actor is shameless but if I had a ten inch dick I would swing it around too. There is a lot of fucking on that show but that's cool.  There is on True Blood too but at least no one is a fairy or a vampire.

LOST; Breaking Bad; The Walking Dead; Police Squad!; Taxi; Family Guy; The Colbert Report; The Daily Show; almost every documentary that PBS airs. For spectacle, Wipeout!; Tosh.0; TruTV "dumbest/stupidest/wildest"; and Antiques Roadshow. Person Of Interest is finally getting into its own after a slowish mid-season.

Supernatural, Vampire Diaries, Doctor Who, Sherlock, Eureka, Warehouse 13, and Game of Thrones are the shows I watch most often.

Currently, I'm watching Terra Nova (which is kinda "meh"), but that's only because I'm caught up with everything else. I have no other choice except reruns until the new seasons air (or new episodes come out for seasons already airing).

As for favorite shows of all time, the Stargate franchise rises above all else (all three shows), followed closely by The X-Files.

(Also, I'll probably be adding that new show Awake to the "currently watching favorite show" list, but I can't judge yet because only the pilot has come out so far.)

I want to watch awake.

Doctor Who, Sherlock, and Game of Thrones are all great.

I haven't seen the others much though.
