Hey all. Curious if you all have favorite (or least favorite) craft books. There have to be some other gems out there. I'd say something along the lines of Gardner's Art of Fiction, or Saunder's Brain Dead Megaphone, or the Tin House essays. Anyone have any other good books/blogs/podcasts (obviously other than the LitReactor Craft Essays)?
Michael
I love Kim Wieland's book on outlining. Even if later on I drifted into more of a world builder and less of a point by point sort of girl.
Allot of "how to write" book end up with way to much snark.
Hope you find a good one.
It might be good to only search for book for your specific weakness. Like for me, until recently, my problem was to many characters with to little of a character arc and progression.
