I didn't know there were comparisons being made. But I've been looking forward to Lexicon since Max announced he was working on it.

I was also planning on working it into the book club. Not sure on a month for it yet.

Even though I loved his other books so much, I still haven't read Machine Man. The story just doesn't interest me. That's why I was extra excited when he announced this one.

Snow Crash is about a secret organisation which has discovered a way to control people by the use of the ur-language Sumerian.

So they have that in common.

Read the book, enjoyed it, but not the next SnowCrash. I also think Machine Man was better.
