You really hit this out of the park and I admire your willingness to lay yourself out there like you did. I hope everyone reads this because it is just damn good writing on a seriously personal level that we don't get to see very often.

I saw the title of this thread and never expected that piece of writing.  Left rather speechless at your honesty and the sincerety in your writing.  This is an amazing piece .  All I can say is keep laughing, man, however dark the comedy is, and thank you for sharing this.

That's the kind of story-telling that sticks with you long after you've read it. It's unfortunate that it wasn't a piece of fiction, but it has me craving to read your humor.

Powerful shit, man. That must've been something to get off your chest, and even a bigger something to share with people. Mad respect.

I... um... wow. I also got fooled by the title of this post, and maybe I'm just a little emotional today but that piece really affected me. I hope someday I can be that honest and eloquent. Thank you for sharing that.

Thanks dudes abd dudettes. Yeah was a bit painfull to write. But I kept getting asked, and while I had resisted, I figured if Lidia Yuknavitch can be unashamed of her past, so can I. Not easy letting folk know comedy is your comfort blanket. I'n not a good writer, and see my stuff as 'work in progress' but I have learned I need not be ashamed. Not any more.

It does mean a lot taht you lot dig it. Thanks for the props on the book too!

That's the first quadruple post I've ever seen!

And Jonny, you are a good writer ;) Malice was intended to be funny and entertaining--and it was. This piece laid you out on the line and poured it out--and it was mind blowing!
