Hi, I'm Chacron, now where's the bar? (I am from England after all.)

Before I post anything serious or ask questions I should at least introduce myself. My real name's Tommy, I'm 29 and I've loved reading and writing stories ever since I was about 7 and a teacher told me I was good at both (her opinion, not always mine!) I could make a list of authors I love and the books I've read that inspire me but I don't see much point, I'd rather do something of my own and workshop it and let that do the talking and people can guess who I might have been reading. I've got one story on here so far in the 'Teleport Us' competition, which I admit was my reason for joining but there are plenty of other reasons for staying.

Whether I'm any good or not I'll leave to reviewers but I'm well practiced in staying the course, I've written loads over the last few years including a very long novel I'm on draft two of, I just can't stop myself and join the real world much, but I've shared very little of my work and I've had enough of the lonliness, so here I am joining a community, I'll workshop some stuff as soon as I've got something I'm reasonably happy with.

Welcome Chacron,

I'll keep it simple and have a beer.

The community is pretty awesome and you get out of it what you put in and most the writers arround here are pretty serious about improving their craft and helping others improve as well. Don't be afraid to mingle. I've made many good friends around these boards that have been instrumental for improving my skills. I hope you find the same!

Welcome... smart man, getting out ahead of the "You'll have to buy me a drink first" crowd. That's the kind of forward thinking we appreciate around these parts.

Like you don't remember. Like it isn't your fault. Like you didn't... I don't even want to mention what you did Carly. Disgust isn't the right word.
