Hey all, I'm looking to put together several graphic novels based on my short stories. If you are an artist and would be interested in collaborating let me know. It's my intention that next summer I push to get a table at local horror conventions, however I need physical merchandise to sell and at the moment only have one thing. I'm hoping by next summer to have more published work that's in print and am gonna print little novellas of some of my longer short stories.

I won't be able to pay you outright, however I would be able to write up a contract and aggree upon a per page rate or some other kind of compensation, after which you would be paid over a period of time based on sales of said product, which would be available online through create space or some other avenue. In other words- if the product does well, you'll get paid. If it bombs then none of us will make anything off of this.

Again, I'm shooting for next summer. So I'm going about contacting people now so there's no stress in putting this together. I'm looking to make 2-3 short stories into cool little graphic novel booklets (like 20-30 pages depending on the story). I write horror, so if you're into that def contact me. It would be cool to have a variety of artists.

And obviously you'd be credited as the artist and I'd be credited as the writer. I've never really done anything like this before so bare with me.

I'm not an artist, but I dabble. I'm pretty far from a publishable (is that a word?) level of skill however. Nor am I prolific enough to work with anyone else. Your project sounds interesting though, so I hope you get it going.

You'd probably have better luck on a site like deviantart since it's for artists.

Or digitalwebbing.com. But you're either going to get shitty art of a whole lot of waiting for nothing at all if you don't offer money.

You really should try Deviantart. There are a gazillion artists on that site, some of whom may not necessarily want pay.
