Rob Wells is a guy who is down on his luck. Very down on his luck. Not too long ago he was diagnosed with a severe panic disorder. Not that long afterward he lost his job. (He actually lost his job on the anniversary of when he lost his last job.)
He's a writer, like us. He wrote a YA novel called Variant. It's done pretty well. I've only read the first chapter (I can't read the book this month, but I wanted a taste of it) and it's pretty good. I get the feeling it'll only get better once I continue reading it.
His fans are organizing a surprise BOOK BOMB today. They're going to buy a copy of his book for friends or get their friends to buy a copy of his book all on the same day: TODAY, 11/10/11. By doing this some sort of magic is supposed to happen with his ratings, he'll have more exposure, and more people will buy his book.
I thought I'd share this Book Bomb with you all today. I'll be buying myself a Kindle copy and my friend one, as well, since she's also down on her luck and could use a good book to read.
Here's a more detailed description of the Book Bomb and Rob:
