Hello everyone,

I forgot this was the big game week-end and Friday here in San Francisco. What was I thinking? I'm here at home with my cat trying to figure out which short stories to revive. What a loser. I was introduced to this site through the Chuck Palahniuk site. I'm just poking around to see what is going on here. It seems positive and supportive thus far. I'm a bit cautious as I read comments from other sites as being snarky and simply over opinionated. I'm hoping that this community is nurturing, fair and constuctive.

I really want to learn how to write and write better. I also look forward to meeting new friends with this community to interact with about life, reading, writing and so on.

I think I might buy in.

Yes, so brutal. I can relate with my up bringing. Not the murder but the crazed folly of survival. What are you reading?

Awesome qoute from Knockemstiff " I'm begining to believe that anything I do to extend my life is just going to be outweighted by the agony of living it."

I just got done with A Decent Ride by Irvine Welsh...then I interview him on Monday. Kinda crazy.

That is nuts! Have not read the book but interviewing Irvine Welsh must have been challenging. Have you read Vernon God Little by DBC Pierre?
