I can't afford signing up for the workshop yet, so I thought I'd reach out in a slightly more shameless way. A while back, I wrote two short stories within the science fiction genre. Both are below 7,000 words, need editing and some critique.
The first and shorter piece tells a story of an ex-dominatrix and a recently fired nuclear scientist Lou as a shady employer shows interest in her research into parallel universes. Deals most closely with character psychology than anything else.
The second story revolves around a material used to breed emotion-less psychic assassins, and two people who procure it: Sparsh, a defective killer, and Smoke, a seemingly benign runaway acrobat. More action, less philosophy. Has a certain degree of violence and psychedelic tropes.
By the way, are psychedelic tropes even a thing, or is it just me?
Anyone interested in either or both of the stories should reply below stating the most convenient means of communication. Any feedback will be appreciated.
