Yes, I have my prompt. Do the rest of you have yours?
Let's start a super-secret chat room where we can talk about our prompts and encourage each other to vote for our stories. It's only against the rules if we get caught!
Can I vote for myself? I always feel guilty doing it, but I think my opponents mostly do it, so I think I will this round. Is that cool?

Sounds good. And then i can throw a fit and post a couple of paragraphs about how everyone sucks and then i'll disappear for a while. That's of course if i got a prompt, which i didn't. Or did. Did i?

Dude, if you didn't get a prompt yet then AD probably just forgot to give you one. You'll need to remind her. I've touched base with everyone else, though, and they all got theirs, so if you don't have a prompt it would probably be fair to ask for more time to write your story.

Haha! No one got prompts. this is yet ANOTHER ploy to fill the slots with ten of my own stories and force you all to read them and tell me what a great writer I am!
As an aside, my favorite moment of this so far has been the post that says nothing but "street tacos!"
Made me laugh.

I thought I'd have until this evening to finish contemplating rather or not I had time for this. Thankfully, I was wrong and it was decided by Avery for me this morning when she closed the entries. I have jury duty next week. Never done it so not sure how much of my time that will take and god forbid if I get sequestered and have no internet access I'd potentially have upset alot of people. So, assuming I'm not a good candidate for deciding someone's fate, I should be arround to read and vote when the stories go up. Good Luck to those who made the cut. Can't wait to see all the cool stories.

And just to show that, once again, I actually DO understand the rules, we (and by we I mean the people who signed up to maybe participate, which is a subset of humanity that does not actually include me) are not supposed to post posts which indicate that we did or did not make the cut.
Unless I misunderstood something. Which is possible.

We could also put up a poll for best commenter. That way, all belligerent avatars would make sense. I dig belligerent avatars. I even changed mine before I got/didn't get the prompt. In the spirit whatever.
I also see the commenting part as a big potential for fun.
