just for this post. I don't have as much time to chit chat as much as I would like. Maybe during the Winter break...

But I'm always hovering...

Hover away.

nice twist on "lurking"

Jose F. Diaz's picture

Lurking has some negative connotations. So yes, I'm lurking.

Love me some negative connotations. You lurk, hover, hurk, lover, whatever you want. Glad to just see that smug jug of a mug.

New term to replace the word asshole.

Trumpean.

Use: You're being quite Trumpean today.

Thuggish's picture
Thuggish from Vegas is reading Day of the Jackal November 18, 2016 - 2:10pm

It's not that I don't like it, but first, it seems like it should be expanded. It could also mean vague, or incredibly egotistical.

And let's be fair and make a term called Hillarian.

1- adj. excessively robotic or rehearsed.

2- adj. involved in high levels of deception or corruption; esp. when destroying evidence.

And hey, while we're at it, GaryJohnson

1- v. to hide in a place one does not belong

2- adj. excessively ignorant of matters relevant to one's profession

No. Only Trumpean. The other two are attacking defeated people. We're not savages. We only ridicule those in power. Like civilized folk.

Is there anything worse

than hints, innuendo, subtlety?

I look back and think,

is that what you meant?

but I cannot know

because it was

hints, innuendo, subtlety.

I don't believe in god or karma or any pre-destined stuff, but damn it if something like the universe didn't just throw me a bone to help me quiet this chaotic mind. No, I'm not going to elaborate. But, to It, thanks.

Yup. Again. Silent. Dark Peaceful. I have heat and lights and food and booze or whatever else I want.  Winter has some perks. I am spoiled rotten to the core. I love to be warm.

Someone  asked me today to meditate on the knowing/unknowing aspect of writing. It was suggested that it might be important to understand why I write what I write. I had not considered this. I am not sure I want to know the answer to that question. I will meditate on that. If I can meditate.

Whenever.....Always when I read someone else's stuff, I ask, "Why did you write this?" I guess I could render the same gentle evaluation to my own work, yeah?

I have just been happy to have words landing on the page. To question why might turn off the faucet.  On the other hand I do not want the water to run unattended. That seems wasteful. I think it's okay to turn if off while I sleep.

A soul Toy is a wooden bird hung in the forest, carved  to entertain the spirit in order that it doesn't get bored and leave the body. Once the spirit leaves the body, it is very difficult to get it to come back.
