Boone, did you get drunk and artistically kill yourself last night?
Close. I got ill last night and began systematically erasing my "cleverness" because it disgusted me. But, it was shaping up into a lot of work, and I was tired and ill. So, I stopped and slept.
I'm better now. Called in sick to work and I've rested. Thanks for the concern - no cleverness - it actually cheered me a little. Feeling less ill...

Good. I got a very critical 200 useless words out of the way last night to pave the way for the 2300 golden words that will actually comprise the body of this astounding work of blinding light that I'm creating for submission Friday morning. I haven't re-read them yet today. I prefer to wait until later at night when I'm tired and my self-esteem is troughing so I can take the double hit.

The kid is way down with some Pearl Jam. I haven't tried out Ministry on her, but she's a huge Powerman 5000 fan, so Ministry is just a step away. Regardless, she'll be well-rounded. My wife is a classically trained opera singer who loves Five Finger Death Punch. The kid sings these sweet church songs hanging out in her room and then busts out Nirvana and Disturbed on Rock Band.
