Hey everyone,

Mind hearing a quick sales pitch? No? Great, It'll just take a moment.

*Ahem*

Own a Kindle? Like short fiction? Well, why not download my short story collection, "An Overly Pleasant Apocalypse" for only $0.99! Here's the official Amazon blurb:

"Let's face it, there's no such thing as a happy ending. Not really. But that doesn't mean you can't enjoy yourself along the way. From junk mail at the end of the world to painfully real pro wrestling, this collection of six stories by Chris Lewis Carter just might help you forget how quickly life can unravel like a cheap sweater.

Don't believe me? Well, get a load of “Magic Man,” which answers the age-old question, how would a made-for-TV pitchman survive the zombie apocalypse? Check out “Killer Interview,” an inside look at the application process for unsavory souls to become reincarnated serial killers. Or how about “Lost and Spammed,” where you'll uncover the truth about a global pandemic with the help of poorly-written emails.

So come on, chin up. It could always be worse. Keep that in mind and maybe – just maybe – you'll have an overly pleasant apocalypse."

And if you like what you read, a quick review on Amazon would go a long way to help spread the word.

Thanks in advance to anyone that picks up a copy. Let me know what you think :)

twoseebee: Thanks, man. I really appreciate it. Let me know what you think! Also, I should have added those stage dancers. Missed opportunity for sure.

Dave: Well, you're in luck, because there are all kinds of terrible apocalypse-ness stuff going on in there. Not to mention Werewolves, Pro Wrestling, Family Pet Trauma, and more. Fun for the whole family! :)

Nikki: Long time, no see! It's great to hear from you again, and thanks so much for picking this up. From one former Cultie to another, I really hope you dig it ;)

Ummmm... upon closer inspecition, I'm beginning to think I've just thanked a bot that spouts herb references. Forgive me if I'm wrong, laugh at my expense if I'm right.

And at the risk of us losing the plot here, "An Overly Pleasant Apocalypse" on Kindle is available now, and has been praised as the best book talked about in this thread! :)
