Hi Litreactor communtiy! My name is Daniel Mariano. I'm a Copyeditor and Publicist for local Indie authors that reside within the Inland Empire (San Bernardino County),CA. The editing staff and publicity team that I work with are dedicated to the local writers, whether it be authors, poets, shortstory-ers, bands, solo musicians, and even visual artists... We do all it is that we can do to help them get their name out and about. Someone believed in us, so we use that same model to believe in others. Thank you all for taking the time to read my introduction, I greatly appreciate it. I look forward to meeting and networking with everyone.

Hey there guy who will, statistically speaking, disappear from the site in a week or so!

You used 'too' in place of 'to'. Also, 'either' does not agree with 'authors, poets, shortstory-ers, bands, solo musicians, and even visual artists'.

Don't listen to Dave. Dave is dangerous. Dave overturns garbage cans and leaves rotting food strewn across your street. Do not look into Dave's eye. Do not ask about Dave's missing eye. DO NOT ASK DAVE WHICH EYE IS MISSING. Please. For the love of God, I beg of you.

First - welcome Daniel!!  Excited to have you around and I hope you enjoy the site.  Look around, meet some people, have a good time.

Second - Jeffrey Grant Barr, do we need to have the talk again?  The one where I ask you not to be a douche to new people?

Welcome! I live in the IE as well. We should start a local writing club here. Don't mind Jeff, I think he's hangry.

Myself and a few locals are trying to start a writing program for, well... writers. We're trying to target people between the ages of 18 and 40ish. I was talking to an English teacher who has her own little shindig going, but she censors alot of the members content because its not Rated G. Blah blah blah so anyway's, we're tryng to create one for a specific age demographic. All ideas are welcome and if anyone within the IE/HD wanna participate, please feel free. Worse case scenerio, it could just be a good reason to get together, shoot the shit, and drink?.?.?

I'm down for an in-person writing centered group OR an in person shoot the shit and have a beer group OR, my personal favorite, a group that gives a fair portion of time to both. I'm way down in JT, but depending on how often the meetings are I would be more than willing to make it a priority.

Shoot the shit and have beer sounds perfect.

I'm totally up for that. I'm up in Hesperia, or as my co-workers call it, Canada. Because it's so damn far from work it might as well be Canada.
