I've started a new blog to review short stories and small press works and even some self-published novels. Too many of them receive glowing five star reviews from the author's friends and frankly, I'm tired of it. What this industry needs is a fresh dose of honesty and realism (not the literary movement, actual realism). I'll only review a novel based on its Amazon Preview or if there is an excerpt on the author's website. If you can't wow me with that, I'm not bothering with your story anyway.
The first review is already posted:

If you have something you'd like me to review, email me at yourstoryiscrap@gmail.com. I see a lot of interest in self-publishing on your website here (great site, by the way) so keep your eyes open, you may be next.
I saw that episode of True Life. What a goon.
The review of the Epic Fantasy thing was pretty funny.
You say you do short stories? Do I need to have a short story collection at Amazon or something? I would love to have you review one of mine! Think of all the funny names you can make from 'Barr'.
BTW, you are going to be in so much trouble: Brandon Tietz is a founder/owner or something of LitReactor. To be honest, I've never read any of his stuff, but your review makes me want to read Out of Touch, even though I'm not a huge chuckpahalniuk fan.

Hey, freedom of speech, man. I think it's adorable to be honest.
If he gets to the point where people actually pay him to do this Wensink and I will have the bragging rights of being his first "victims."
Critics are cute. It's got to be so fulfilling to spend your days criticizing people's form of self expression.
I was being a critic myself there. Irony.
