Came a few days ago, an old copy. I open the cover, and on the title page I see that it's signed by Bret fucking Easton Ellis. Less than ten bucks. Score.

That means either some ungrateful dick sold their copy or it was a "lost in the mail" copy.
The seller didn't mention it in the description? They didn't even look at the book they were selling? You should give them negative feedback. EDIT --- It was a used book, right?
Still a nice surprise.
But yeah, some used sellers don't pay attention. I've received used books which were different editions from the edition under which it was listed or which were ex-library copies without being described as such. If it ships quickly, I'm not too worried about it because I'm just looking to read, not collect.
