That was awesome, thank you. I'll edit the welcome note to include a bit about reading that, since everyone raves about your reviewing -- I'm sure the new kids will appreciate it more than anything.
Also, I loved the bit about the fact that you smoke a lot during your reviews. I can't count how many of my hand-written LBLs (it helps me focus to print them out and mark them up) have cigarette burns in them. My binder, too -- it's coated in ash and nail polish. I smoke more (cigarettes) during writing and reviewing than any other time.

Before Courtney wrote this essay, I always thought LBL meant "Labia Biting Lesbian". So for every review I gave, I included an in-the-text BDSM lesbian sex scene. I'm glad she wrote the essay because, quite frankly, I was running out of ideas.

He was born with the magic to make everything about twat. Unfortunatly, it's vagina vs. vagina deathmatches in a steel octagon. VMMA (vaginal mixed martial arts) is growing in popularity, but there are suprisingly few women (or post-op transexuals) willing to risk their cooters for the ultimate prize: a belt made of stolen foreskin.

A couple of days ago, I posted my first submission, "Stenography" (the one about the wolf and pigs,) got a sufficient number reviews, and just now deleted it. Is there any kind of decorum around how long you should leave your story up? I've seen some that have been there since last November and some that say "Don't need anymore reviews," but the file is still there. What's the deal? I thought I might be able to just remove the file itself but keep the review thread, but no. Then I thought I could just replace the file with a blank one, but decided against it.
Thoughts?

There is no set rule on that. You just take it down when you feel like it, if ever. If I remove mine, I replace the file with a word doc that says, "thanks for checking, this has been deleted" or something and then copy and paste into the description.

I leave the file up because I've been switching computers a lot, so it's nice to have a backup copy stored somewhere online. Until recently I simply left it up without specifying anything, but then I got reviews on my oldest stories, so I erased the synopsis and description and said I had everything I needed.
