Paul Goat Allen has been a genre fiction book critic for 25+ years, reviewing more than 10,000 titles for companies like Publishers Weekly, Kirkus, The Chicago Tribune, BN.com, and BlueInk. He has interviewed hundreds of bestselling authors—China Miéville, Anne McCaffrey, Joe Hill, Harlan Coben, Laurell K. Hamilton, Kim Harrison, Michael Moorcock, Patrick Rothfuss, S.A. Cosby, and Justin Cronin, to name just a few—and his review excerpts have appeared on countless book covers. He is an instructor and mentor in Seton Hill University’s Writing Popular Fiction graduate writing program. He lives in New York.
