March Book Club Selection: 'My Father's House' by Ben Tanzer
Every month here at LitReactor, we celebrate reading with a new selection in our Book Club! For March we will be reading and discussing Ben Tanzer's newest book, My Father's House. Inspired by The Basketball Diaries, My Father’s House is an homage to the sparse lyricism of Bruce Springsteen and the slamming, punchy storytelling of The Ramones. Both raw and humorous, it is a tale of illness and coping, fathers and sons, and the birth of the writer.
Discussion for My Father's House will kick off on March 1st, but you should pick up the book and start reading ASAP! (We've provided a handy link below). Once you're locked and loaded, you can announce your presence in the Book Club. (No invitation needed!) That thread is where all discussion about the book will go down. Right now, we're discussing February's selection, The Devil All The Time by Donald Ray Pollock (and Donald is taking your questions).
Ben Tanzer has also graciously offered his time and will be answering questions in our Book Club forum from March 1st on. To get your questions in, head over to this thread. You'll need to register for the site to post your questions. We also appreciate if you've actually read the book.
So head on over to announce your involvement. And...
