Christa Faust Auditioning Butch Dicks For Book Trailer, UPDATED WITH KICKSTARTER!

Christa Faust Auditioning Butch Dicks For Book Trailer

UPDATE: Christa has launched a Kickstarter campaign for the next Butch Fatale book. A limited Ace Double style back-to-back print edition of both the first Butch novel, and the new one, signed and personalized? Yes, please. Check it out.

LitReactor instructor and hardboiled dame Christ Faust is holding an audition to find a real-life version of her dyke dick, Butch Fatale.

Faust is writing the second outing of the private eye character, and is seeking someone to play the role in a trailer for the next book's release. Click through to find the full instructions. All audition videos get posted to YouTube, and Faust will post the links to all videos received by July 1. The reading public will then vote on the winner, and that winner will star in the trailer.

You don't have to look like the character pictured above--Faust says cocky, sexy attitude is key, and welcomes "all ages, shapes and types, including butches of color, fat butches, and anyone else who thinks they’ve got what it takes."

This is a very cool twist on the concept of the book trailer, and I dig the interactive component.

Got what it takes? Post a video. Be sure to tell us about it, too. If you know someone who fits the bill, pass it along.

And if you haven't read Butch Fatale, Dyke Dick in Double D Double Cross yet, do it. Now. It's a great read.
