Too big and indigestable for my tastes. I did really enjoy going to APE one year, though (and I think it's gotten bigger too since I went), when I was married. Met Darrin Perry who I've got a number of prints from and who I commissioned to do an original piece for my wife when her cat died (awesomest cat ever, had one eye, was like 25 pounds, somewhere between cuddly as hell and a grizzled old bastard), got a signed piece by Camilla d'Errico, and some assorted books and stuff. It was fun. I wouldn't mind going to Comic Con, especially since I'd finally get to meet Chandra Free, whose artwork I've admired for years and who I actually pitched an idea to for an illustrated book of poems, but it's just never worked out.
