I'm torn between Psychosis: an Anthology of Fiction and Psychosis: an Anthology of Madness. Either is good.
I don't the first two options, no need for the The. I don't think we should use mental illness.
I also think Psychosis: Stories would work well.
I'm not a very descisive person sometimes.
I'm stumpled. There are too many good points and I am not opinionated enough. I like Martin's idea of Psychosis: Stories but I feel like it needs something else. Not that the title needs to be any longer. Psychosis works perfectly fine on its own, but the sub-title of what the book is needs something. Like Psychosis: Stories Inspired by Madness.
Geez. I feel like saying anything is going to make Danny kill himself before he gets the editing done. Sorry, buddy, but we're all thinkers here.
NEW POLL
just, FYI:
http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Anthology
"An anthology is a collection of literary works chosen by the compiler. It may be a collection of poems, short stories, plays, songs, or excerpts. In genre fiction anthology is used to categorize collections of shorter works such as short stories and short novels, usually collected into a single volume for publication."
so maybe we're fine.
i voted for the last one.
I mean, Ideally we would run this like a tourney, and offer all of the options up front, then after enough time passes for us to feel like everyone has voted we take like the top 2 options (or 3, or do it 5 and run 3 different polls, whatever feels "fair") and we have a "finals" poll between the top choices.
I'm not personally fond of the way "Psychosis Stories" sounds. Straight up "Psychosis" sounds better to me.
But my favorite option was actually represented in this poll: Psychosis: An Anthology of Madness
I was going to say, isn't an anthology a collection stories? I think an anothology "of fiction" is redundant.
How about just calling it what it is: Psychosis: An Anthology of Hope, Dreams, and The American Way, Plus Some Stories from England, Canada, and A Lot of Other Fucking Places. Bitch.
