1. What is something you've recently finished?

2. What are you working on now?

3. What are you going to work on afterward?

1- NOTHING! well, that one short thing...

2- the greatest book anyone has ever written. almost done.

3- ooo, good question. Dystopian story inspired by a Sam Harris Ted talk. New twist on the whole thing. Exciting prospects, at least in my mind.

1. What is something you've recently finished?

Section of a long-ass book that's never totally finished, but brick by brick...

2. What are you working on now?

Stories that are 200 words or less. I get too wordy, so this has been good practice. I just did one about a time my brother puked on Xmas eve.

3. What are you going to work on afterward?

I wanted to write something about a person who does banner ads pulled behind an airplane. Someone who starts promo-ing the business to do stuff like break up with someone they're dating, hurting feelings, etc.

  1. Short stuff. Did some longer work last year.
  2. I haven't been writing much so far this calendar year. I'm working on the question of whether or not I actually want to submit any of the stuff I've had lying around. I have bad submission habits, basically the opposite of the advice you read concerning good submission habits. But, when I wrote most of this stuff, there was within me the supposition that I might at some point submit the stuff I wrote and that might've served as a vague motivator. I think I might just submit stuff for a while, hoping that will clear headspace or inspire a batch of new work.
  3. I might make a music record for February.

What am i doing?

-Brief break from Writers Workshop. I'm burnt.

1. What is something i recently finished? My first Benjamin Percy short story at Gamut.

-Writing a  few short stories.

-The first paragraph for TENDER BONE: attached.

2. What am I working on now?

-Overall, trying to write a hook that hooks me...into a novel. I keep snapping the fishing line.

-I am working on Benjamin Percy's book on writing, and damn, title just flitted away as I was typing THRILL ME..chapter There Will Be Blood is really good.

-I am working on AVALANCE AT THE BASTARD FACTORY...plotting in my head for the first time that I can remember, trying to get ready to write the end first, before I complete the beginning and start on the middle. could this be my novel?

3.What am I going to work on afterward?

-Maybe flip back to TENDER BONE  could this be my novel?

-Getting  myself all worked up over something.
