The Old Testament and the New Testament are 1 book with the same main character. It goes like this:
God = that guy who is never wrong about anything.
-Total Dick about it.
-Repeated genocide of those who disagree with him.
-Sometimes his best friends piss him off and he loses his shit.
Plot Point: He has a kid.
-Fatherhood becomes important to him, all of the sudden he isn't the only one who matters.
-In fact, as any parent will discover, he is not infallible.
-Alright, Forgiveness for everybody!
Revelations: But even though he forgives you, don't forget, he has a gun to your head and he doesn't give a fuck.

@nkwilczy--I still don't get how Jesus can be God and be the Son of God but not share the same consciousness? And this Holy Spirit, is it a third entity and on what level does it exist? So many metaphysical questions that are never addressed. Sidenote: I just read a comic called American Jesus by Mark Millar which starts off with the concept that a kid born in modern day America learns he is Christ resurrected. Then it takes such a shocking turn at the end that it turns everything on it's head.

Part of the secret of sounding like Chuck is not reading too much or thinking too much. I don't have much of an education and didn't finish college but I do know the videogames.
Playing videogames are more important than reading lit. If you can play Mass Effect 3, you know all you need to know about writing characters and building the action without too much detail. Detail gets distracting to the writers craft.
I'm wondering if other writers on this site feel the same way. I think that playing videogames is a great preparation for writing lit.

building leggoe bridges to Europe > spamming Litreactor. Simple as that. But that guy was devoted to defending his premise (he claimed to be writing a book about building lego (TM) bridges across the world, and that he hated the conventions of English Grammar and form), and IIRC there were at least a couple people who took his side until they realized he was trolling us.
