Correct. You do not need to be part of the workshop to submit and participate. However, for publication/copywrite reasons, the polls will be locked to membership only. So if you don't pay for the workshop you won't be able to vote for your story.

Plus I have to find a way other than hitch hiking to get to Winnipeg for a funeral in the next week. I know, whiny starving artist blah blah blah. I might be able to arrange for some trial passes like I did last time in the Anthology, this time for War contestants, but only if you guys promise to read and vote on as many stories as possible. Basically you would have a one-month trial period for starters. Sure you could workshop, but ideally you would use it for War.
A key more or less.
The thing is, I think it is pretty important to have as many of the actual contestants reading and voting as possible. Not only does it make it more fun, it can be quite informative and raise the level of play.
Anyone interested PM me and I will see what we can do.
Usually the more the better.
