Because *SPOILER I felt like she just rushed though about five years of shit in one page. It was crazy. It was all telling. And it was the first time i have ever seen that in a book and knew what to call it. I didn't feel anything about the end. It literally said, "eventually me and Peeta grew back together". Total rip off. She couldn't have written at least one scene showing me an emotional connection? Showing them growing back together? It sucked.

No.
It's a good story, it really is. And it is YA, so it is geared towards a younger audience. I accept that. The first book...it's sort of wonderful for what it is. But the last couple chapters were just poorly handled.

Are the judges to be blinded (and no i dont mean physically or emotionally - (thats to the assholes who were thinking of posting things like that)). I mean - judging with no name - merit of the story alone - so as to protect against all the asshole discrimination. You may have covered this already, but im too lazy to check through the riff/raff. Hey! Dont discrimate against me! I will unite the lazy people world round and.... Oh... Wait. Nevermind. All the lazy people just looked at each other and shrugged. Where was i going with this? @Fritz: Judging will be done by poll that the site allows you to set up, by site members. All the voting is blind. As an example, check out:

I think Fritz brings up a good point. There is always the concern that people will make this a popularity contest. However, I feel that because the vote is blind (no one knows who you voted for unless you broadcast it) that relieves some of that. Also the fact that for the most part the people doing the voting are serious about writing and want to be treated fairly, and will thus judge as fairly as they can.
Anyone who reviewed your story before the final will know it is yours, even if we remove the names from the final stories when we post them in the poll. I don't see a way around that. It's a little bit about trust. Also, the fact that there is no prize probably helps.

The issue i have are the points we use to post our stories. In order to post up a story and a revision, we are forced to review at least ...10 stories. That way we are not forced to review anything.
