Gotta tell you, guys, this WAR experience has been absolutely amazing for me. It's put me in a place I've always tried to get to but never quite achieved. I've arrived at the understanding that it's more important to write stories than to spend months thinking about them.
Til now, in a really productive year I'd write two (TWO!) stories. Normally it was one. Unless it was none. Here, in the last three months, I've written six. No special inspiration, either, just grinding something out of prompts I didn't particularly enjoy, forcing out first sentences when I didn't really want to, and continuing when, frankly, the material I was working with didn't seem to work for me.
I don't give a shit if I win (okay, that's a lie); the most important thing I'm bringing away from WAR is the understanding of what it takes to continue to move forward.
For that, I thank all of you.

Gotta tell you, guys, this WAR experience has been absolutely amazing for me. Because as of yet I have not lost. It's put me in a place I've always tried to get to but never quite achieved. One where people think I'm awesome.
Boy, it's been difficult doing all this winning. I'm going to say something slightly self-deprecating, but not really, just to show you how humble and fantastic I am.
I want to win. And if you can guess which story is mine at this point, I'm hoping this speech will sway your vote.
For that, I thank all of you.

Utah and Jessica should host a TV show between them. They'd have chemistry. Possibly the mad scientist kind of chemistry, but chemistry nonetheless.
I do agree with Utah about this WAR being great for productivity. Not so good for my mental stabilty but yeah, you guys got me writing more recently than I did all last year. It's been great fun.
