I'm pretty sure it's Saturday.
Things are nerve-wracking. I go on vacation next week, and if I win this battle that means my vacation won't be all that stress-free.

Well, it is technically a rape whistle, yes, but I thought it might make you feel sort of official. Like perhaps you are officially going to be raped.

I've been itchin' with the reading bug ever since WAR started, and I've since been stalking you folks down in the Writer's Workshop. I'm hoping to make it more of a habit, because I don't often keep my reviewing consistent. Usually I go several months without setting foot in there.
That said, it's been really nice seeing WAR stories posted for feedback, and I encourage more of you to submit them. I'll definitely be submitting mine in once I get some points saved up.
Liana
from Romania and Texas is reading Naked LunchApril 5, 2012 - 5:12pm
I do want feedback on this particular story, first because it's kind of a mess, second because I did something different from what I usually do (don't know what I do usually). I was experimenting with something. I will say what after the polls close. So I'll post it in the workshop afterward.

I'll try to get your story when you post it, Liana. I'm on vacation right now, so hopefully it won't be too late when I do!
Also, am I the only one who doesn't know when the polls close for Round 2? I've looked around but I can't seem to find anything.

Okay - I'm going to close polls tonight. Let's say...I dunno. Between 7 and 8pm CST.
Prompts for our lucky winners will be sent in the moring. Those will be 10 am CST.
Good round everyone! I didn't have to spank not a one of you!

At least everyone else got their ass whooped in a similar fashion to me, so I don't feel so bad.
The only story I thought I knew for sure was Richard's, and that was because of the title.

what I actually listened to while writing

I can't wait to see what the next round brings! Everyone who wins the next round gets a Nikki gift package (top 4) but they will be sent out likely in may ( whenever I get my Donche inappropriate tarot deck) so I can send it all out together. So the top 4 people need to send me their addresses so I can send the packages out later.
Cheers,
Nikki
