@Nick: I'm going to use that as my soundtrack this time.

I never really understood tax returns. Never had to do one. I get taxed on my wages, without having to fill out any forms. I think only self emplyed people do the returns thing here (admittedly I might not have a clue what I am talking about) Maybe it means we end up paying a higher percentage in taxes here, but it sure seems a lot easier.
Crikey, not a lot of wartime left for this round. Hope everyone is getting on well! Been a bit quiet around these threads the last couple of days, clearly everyone is busy at work on their stories. It's that eerie quiet, like just before the snipers bullet rings out.
I finished my story but I ain't mailing it over until tomorrow at least. I want to take one last read through and edit. I fell out with this story a bit and had to get some distance. I think I have just about rescued it. I think.

I think that the idea of drug testing a writing competition is hilarious. I'm sure the results would be varied and colorful.
But I've been considering the same path Chester.
@alien: I understand. Personally I've been having trouble finding the right level of challenge out of structure and setting. I want to do something "new" and "different" but at the same time I don't want to get stuck trying to do something completely "outside my wheelhouse."
