The writing and pacing, the concept with the puzzles, the tension. The whole story.

I suppose if you want to get deep in the metaphor, she was techically exchanging sexual favours to make it through the apocalypse to live in that "better place" again.  I really do like that picture, though!  I wanted to say something about it but I didn't want people to guess that it was my story by leading them on.
