There's a balance between wanting something and being able to afford it. I just realized that I was willing to splurge on another LitReactor class, and I think it starts Tuesday. When I went to the Online Classes, I didn't see it, so I guess I missed the boat. Sighs. If opportunity knocks again, will I answer? I hope so.
Good to know. I guess (?)
Has Dave, befitting his new avatar, taken on a new and darker persona, wherein he feels freer to mock loquacious crustacea? Stay tuned and find out!
The Smirk© or The Jerk© you never know!
Where's the badge for most useless thread?
Where's the badge for most likely to be an asshole?
Check your coat pocket.
LOL
My books keep piling up. I haven't had a chance to read the books I bought 2 years ago.
I keep buying more books. I re-read old books looking at the new books in guilt.
One day, I'm gonna read all these books.
I just remembered me and Brandon are still tied at 15 achievements. This is unacceptable.
There should be an anniversary achievement.
@Dakota: is that a tie for the lead?
Not anymore. Howie took it with 16.
Well I have a new challenger.
Technically, I should have 16. I made finalist for the Chuck anthology three times, but I don't know if the Anthology Nominated badge refers to that particular project.

Maybe there will be a Litreactor anthology on in the future? *crosses fingers*
I wouldn't hold your breath on that for too long. Getting the submissions is the easy part. We have no shortage of material, and you guys crank out more everyday.
The pain in the ass is on the back end of things: getting a decent publisher, a good editor, a high-profile author or two to endorse the project. These things seem to grind the process to a halt, even when you have a guy like Palahniuk on board.
just xerox a bunch of stories together, then hand them out on street corners, but when someone reaches for one, pull it away and explain that you are asking for "donations" for "at-risk authors."
That sounds like a zine.
