This was a hard one. I don't know what I'm saying, I've never voted. But both of these stories were very good. I could tell who wrote what. That's unavoidable if you are familiar with someone's work.
While Spider Clown was so scary with the bad trip, also very heartwarming, Phobias was a very well put together piece of work too. What decided for me was the two endings. Phobias was very climatic, and had the great twist. I always love a twist. Spider Clown was a great story, but I just didn't get that same payoff at the end like I did with Phobias.
It really didn't help that I have Arachnephobia, but it did make the scary parts that much scarier. The spider in Phobias reminded me of The Twilight Zone, The one episode with the giant spider.
Excellent job both of you!
