Hi folks!

I'm writing a novel, but first I'd like to have my premise as clear as possible, and this is proving to be a more difficult task than anticipated.

Can you help?

Premise examples: Foolishness leads to dead / working hard will lead you to richness / being an honest person leads to a fulfilled life. ...

The thing I want to write about:

Is it possible to escape your history? What do you need to do to get your own identity in stead of copying your parents' (and their parents'). If you are the child of a suicider, is your own suicide unavoidable?

Alle the best,

Tucson

I'm not super sure what you're asking for, here. Are you asking for us to clarify the premise based on the theme that you want to write about?

Maybe he just wants a question that the book will pose?

Here's one: are human beings deterministic?
