I dont understand how we can go from me mildly informing the internet of my oral fixation and deep love of back to the future has turned into an angry thing.
Also about the boys bathroom in school - I never really went in there! Unless it was to check out one of the boys :P
I never actually read what the thread was about originally - I just thought someone was flirting with me asking me if I like sucking things in pairs.......

Back to the serious post...figure I'll throw my 2 cents in. This site is full of shock value and sex and drugs and more sex and alcohol and drugs and all that...It's definately a transgressive themed site. In the world of mainstream fiction, the transgressive theme is a hard one to swallow and most of the time won't make anyone rich (take away Palahniuk, Ellis). And it is either loved or hated. (9 out of 10 hated) With that, it's a great outlet for us folks who think a certain way, like a certain type of read. And anyway, isn't all fiction somewhat true? Everything I write is fiction but it's also what I know through experience, give or take a murder, or rape. And even that I know a lot about through Nancy Grace. I think the struggles of a man/woman are all real, be it because of drugs, or loss, or the more far fetched penis thing, or back-to-the-future-obsession...Everyone in the world has experienced some sort of loss. And . . .
I think as the site goes along, the transgressive theme is obviously going to be a constant, but over time, the writing will adapt and improve and the site will start attracting a larger, more diverse audience.
Great open post by the way and thanks to some of you for the laughs. That's what it's all about.

Yeah but we don't want it to get so mainstream that we have to censor ourselves. I feel free to be a weird disgusting pervert here and I like that. Then there should be a money-back clause. I mean, take a broader world-view. Let's say a straight guy one day was like, "You know, I've been curious about gay porn for some time now. I think today's the day. I'll take a gander and see how the other half reads." Is that guy going to want to read sub-par gay porn? No! As a new initiate he's going to want to be introduced to the best. And so he buys a book proclaiming itself to be the best available from that particular year, and reads it. And it's a let-down. So what happens? He realizes he was right all along, straight porn is the best, and he rests easy in his asthetic superiority, all because he was misled into thinking the sub-standard gay porn he read was the best gay porn available.
How does this help anybody? He has a bad porn experience, which is never any fun. Additionally, think of the gay community as a whole. Here you have this guy, who can now tell his friends, "Yeah, you know, I read this book once where guys blew other guys. It was frickin horrible! I'll never do that and neither should you," thus stifling the potential gay-development not only of the reader, but of his friends (because we all know from marketing class that bad reviews carry ten times the impact of postitive reviews).
So if you're going to market The Best Gay Porn, really strive to make it the best. Those choice you make have a broader impact than you might expect.

I watched male gay porn with a gay friend of mine once about 8 years ago. I tell this story a lot. For some reason we were talking about sex and he mentioned he and the other guy were facing each other. Well I got all confused. How is this possible? So we had a conversation about the logistics, but I still didn't understand, so we watched porn.
A couple years later I reenacted what i learned for my boss at a Christmas party.

The best gay porn is the one where there are two straight guys and one guy goes, "I've never done this before" and the other guy goes, "I promise not to tell, bro. It's just between you and me.' Then you realize a webcam is recording. So I've heard I mean. All I watch is hardcore lesbian porn with strap-ons, I like the lesbos with the huge muscles or if they are severely overweight. Hot fat lesbians.
