The whole point is not the title. Just the words Psychosis and Madness appeal to a certain kind of reader. The appeal is the cover. I think we have a good cover and we have good stories, that is all that should matter. Honestly the title is not my top concern right now. It's finding someone to publish it. The publisher can decide to change the title anyway.

In seriousness, though, I like the simpler titles better. I voted for Psychosis: Stories. Be straightforward. I like The Psychosis Anthology and Psychosis: An Anthology of Mental Illness as well.

I am willing to cover other covers. Since the writing portion is done, for most everyone, we can focus on the other stuff while we are waiting for the long process of someone to get back to us. So Rachel, if you want to find possible cover art that would be fine. We could all vote on it and post artist stuff, maybe lure a few freelancer artists to contribute something.

How about...
Perfectly Natural - Jessica is the Awesomest
For some reason I prefer "Puppet Show, and also some other stories."

But compromise works for me, Stories of Madness sounds cool. I get this retro vibe from the word "Stories," but thats neither necesarrily a bad thing or a universal one, it might be too late at night for me to evaluate such matters but in any event I am onboard with that.
The whole idea of deciding this in poll form was doomed from the start, wasn't it?

Not to be a butthurt here.
Or maybe just yes, why in hell when I say something it gets overlooked, and then when Danny says the same everybody is like, Wow, awesome!!
I mean I'm a woman and most of the time a foreigner too, so I'm used in not getting credited for shit. And this ting has its upsides too, like, I do ugly stuff and nodody sees it and when Danny passes by they'll tell him "You mofo, you did this!" and everybody will be like "yeah, it must have been Danny, it's always him!"
In short, thanks for protecting me, but I don't need protection. And now I'm getting all paranoid and stuff, I'm not only feeling just a woman and a foreigner, but also a dopey and a mental patient nobody wants to speak with.
Sorry, I think I'm identifying myself with my psycho story too much. Or it is identifying with me. I don't know anymore. I DON'T KNOW ANYMOHOHORE!!!! sigh.
Shat your pants? ;) just kidding. In fact, I'm a ninja. Shhhh.. And I love being a woman, and a foreigner, and a dopey, and a mental. It's fun, when you're a ninja too. And a pirate. Oh, whatever. Loves you.

Jessica, that's kind of an oxymoron.

Yeah...not my best work. Hm. I'm going to go back to Undone: The Sweater Song.
Mad About You: The Paul Reiser Psychosis
How about Psychosis on the Rocks?
Inter-Department Delivery
Psychotically Yours,
The Litreactor Gang!
Mad Libs
A Crazy Little Thing Called AHHH MY HAIR IS ON FIRE!
With a picture of hairless Bryan Howie staring calmly out from the cover, directly under the title.
Swagthology: These Stories Are Cray
Life: According to Mariah Carey
What about:
Looking Through the Shattered Mirror: An Anthology
or
The Shattered Mirror: An Anthology of Madness.
Psychosis: An Anthology of Madness.
The poll is closed you trolls.
But, you don't look through a mirror. You look into a mirror.
You didn't see the word play there....sad face.
New York Times Best Seller by My Book.
"New York Times Best Seller by My Book."
WIN!!!
You should give a special thanks to people with mental illness. Without their psychotic breaks these stories would never have come to being.
Just put
PAM
"Without their psychotic breaks these stories would never have come to being."
I sort of think that by "their", you mean the authors.
Hey, that's my mom.
That was my first time using drop quotes, by the way.
@Joseph: Quite welcome.
What is curious is how often pyscho is misspelled.
Pyschosis: An Anthology of Dyslexia

Piss-co=Pysco
Psy.
We should just call it Psycho. No one's ever used that before...
Polls close in a week, it seems we have two leads.
Psychosis: Stories has 6 votes
and Psychosis: Anthology of Madness with 8
How about a compromise?
Psychosis: Stories of Madness
@SurLeQuai
You can say the book was made for her.
PAM=Your mom.
or
PAM=Psychosis Anthology of Madness
It works either way.
Psychosis: Stories of Madness
^^Me like.
I like it, Alien!
I feel like "Girlz and Guyz Interupted: A Psychosis Anthology by the Makers of Gossip Girl" is really what the market wants though.
I'm for Danny's suggestion.
Me too.
The Charlie Sheen 8 gram rock adventures.
i like it. Psychosis: Stories of Madness works for me.
Yay!!! Compromise.
I like too!
I could get behind that.
Compromise wins out again!
For some reason I prefer "Puppet Show, and also some other stories."

I agree with Danny.
uh, okay...
I agreed with Danny before it was cool.
New title:
Psychosis: NOT a hipster anthology.
(for the record)
New title:
Psychosis: Flaminia Was Treated Dismissively and Lost Her Shit
Other new title:
Danny: Not Necessarily All That - Give Flaminia Her Due
Just
Psychosis: Flaminia Lost Her Shit.
So musical.
