Hi, some of you might know me. I've been looking around here and there since the site started and i've read several articles here. I noticed a couple of friends posting so i decided to join. I'm not sure if i'll do the workshop, i can't really justify spending money to do something i'm not even really doing right now anyway. My name is Stephen and i like long walks on the beach and cuddling and craft beers and i'm prone to fits of rage and i've been known to punch people with little to no provocation. Just kidding about the long walks.

I've been to the Saucer. My buddies like to talk about Rahr and Sons and pleasure themselves, so I'm sure it's good stuff. I no longer partake, so all my knowledge is vicarious, but I understand there is a shitload of good beer both places.

Hi, I just made an account yesterday. I haven't figured the site out yet but signing up for the writers workshop seems the next step. Guess that is more of a question. When you submit or post your work and open it up to comments and criticisms do you actually get serious suggestions, critiques and or comments on how to improve your work? Thank you for the welcome, I hope to last longer than this infamous Linton.

Stacy - WELCOME!
As for your question, yes. You will get very serious critiques and suggestions. The workshop is paid and most people take it very seriously (myself included). I have learned so much since joining. I highly recommend it to any and everyone. You need a tough skin, because people will point out your flaws and weaknesses, but it will really help you.

@Stacy: If you have red hair, we burn those at the stake around these parts. Just kidding. Red heads are too pretty to burn. Plus they are already on fire, so what is the point. Just a waste of matches. That there is an example of what my reviews are generally like. Welcome. S&M? Hmmmm.
Applebees. God that place makes me sick.

Went to Applebee's a couple weeks back. Ordered a club sandwich, because you can't fuck up a club sandwich. I'm pretty sure they boiled the club sandwich. Everything was soggy and gross. I am not as enthusiastic about Applebee's as I was before I had a stable income.
@Stacy: Welcome! If you start an introduction thread for yourself a man named Dave will come along and welcome you officially.

Hey all,
I'm new. I signed up when Litreactor launched (because I used to lurk over at The Cult), but I didn't really log in much until early this year. I spammed a couple of things in Jan and Feb of the Flash Me! thread, but that's about it. I felt it was about time I said hello :)
I am a sporadic logger-innerer rather than a constantly-hammering-the-forums-guy, just because of my life habits. That tends to mean I lurk rather than take part in discussions, but if something piques my interest I'll generally post a slice of my mind.
I am working on a bunch of writing projects in my 'spare time', and on here you will generally find me chucking stuff on the Flash Me! thread. And I signed up for WAR, so we will see how that goes.
