@Renee: That's what I thought. I love Lidia and so want to take one of her classes, but like you said, it should be a course that fits what you want and need. I am waiting for the course material that jumps out to me.
Although I must be honest, Lidia blows me away every time she opens her mouth, so I am very excited for you. She is a great teacher.
Well, I promise to come to you in a panic when I realize I am in over my head, then! But yeah, there have been plenty of classes that seemed exciting and worthwhile, but this is the one (especially after reading some of the reviews) that I went OH LORD IN HEAVEN I *MUST* BE IN THIS CLASS! So, it's worth the money sacrifice, and will likely be worth the mental health sacrifice trying to do this while caring for a toddler and remodeling my house.

Hi - I'm new and loving the group. I've been wanting people to read my work, and I'm sorry but family and friends are just not giving it the critique it needed. I'm thrilled to be here! The more red on my posts, the more I can take away from the review. It is scary starting though. Took me a while to start doing the things people really need for reviews and to start doing a good job of critiquing for people. I'm embarrassed my early reviews were lacking. I wasn't doing the red-line critiques at first, and they are very helpful. I am trying to do them now for every critique. I'm becoming a bit addicted to the site, but there are worse addictins that this!

@covewriter: Glad you're enjoying it and getting a lot out of it. Also glad you're getting the hang of reviews. It's an invuable tool on the site and we all benefit from it immensely. Don't worry about the initial fits and starts in the reviewing process. We normally give a more than fair warning before we resort to waterboarding.
