Welcome, lizzbby.  You've joined a great community.  I joined in October(ish? I'm too lazy to go back and look) and since then haven't had much of a presence, but I HAVE learned a lot.  The forum, craft essays, articles, submissions... all of them have helped a great deal.  

I also highly reccomend submitting your work here.  There's a ton of talented people who love to help and see you improve.  I've only submitted one work so far myself, and believe me, they ripped it to shreds... but they also pointed out a lot of things that were wrong and were very, very positive about it.

I agree with the person who started this discussion.  Facebook can be so petty and people indirectly dog you for your own personal ideas or forms of art you want to post.  It is going to die if we could have more to share as we have here, and more to build a solid mature ground to stand on with our "peers,""friends,"...

All caps makes me feel like you are yelling at me.  Bold makes me think you're doing it because you think I'm hard of hearing or unable to understand you for some other reason.  Italics makes me believe you're speaking with an accent.

So... it adds up to you talking really loud because you think I can't understand you through that strange accent.
