Hello fellow writers(?),
My name is Rob Schwinn, but I go by pockett. I have been looking for a site like this for ages now, and I happened across it from a link to an article on twitter, of all places.
I'm currently working on a fiction piece. It's kind of a thriller.
I live in a small community in Ohio, dreaming of the day when I move to the "big city". I guess you could say I'm a small town boy with big city dreams.
I'm married and work as a stay at home dad for my three year old daughter. You might think this affords me plenty of time to write. It does not. I have learned that its all about time management, however, and I'm now writing more than I ever have before.
OK, enough rambling about me. Hope to see you all in the threads!

Welcome Pockett!
No one is going to argue that being a stay at home parent = writing marathons! You've come to the right place.
Welcome man! Staying at home with kids is tough, so hang in there and keep writing. Welcome to the LitReactor, where dreams come to die.*
* Oh no I've said too much.
Man, I don't even have kids, but just watching my godson or my friends' kids for an afternoon is exhausting! For those who can write productively under those conditions, I salute you. Welcome Pockett. Me thinks you'll like this place.
LOL, I doubt anyone but the spelling Nazis noticed. That's what editing is for, don't sweat it.
Welcome. This might help with the kids and lack of free time. http://lokwi.com/upl/1136.jpg
Rob, I'm an editor, and in my introduction thread, I spelled two words egregiously wrong. Suffice to say, ever since, when I'm here, I immediately turn on SCAYT (in the toolbar, second ABC button) before every post. That junk should be on by default.
Welcome, buddy! I look forward to seeing some of your work.
welcome, i did that SAHD thing with twins, so i know how it is. good luck!
Welcome! I don't think I wrote a word from when my son was born until he turned 4, so good for you for keeping it up under battle conditions!
Welcome, dude. Can't say I'm married or have children, but I have a 3 year old niece who drains all of my energy when I'm around (it's well worth it, of course). I can definitely relate to the idea of expecting to have free time to write. If only life were that simple.
Dwayne, that pic made me lol for realz dawg
jk with the street verbage. I hate that crap.
Word.
Welcome to the pit.
