Greetings. New guy. Saw a link to Chuck's essay on thought words and got hooked on Lit Reactor. Bought a one month subscription so I could read it all. May buy more in the future.

Glad to have found this place. I've tinkered with writing for only a couple of years now, but I've been dubious about most of the people offering advice for writers online. The Palahniuk essays resonate with me, though. (I've been a fan for years.) I also like the Craig Clevenger pieces on craft.

I live in Whitby, Ontario. Part of Durham Region. That's in Canada. I'd love it if someone could help point me toward a small, craft-oriented writers group in my area. I'm having difficulty finding like-minded writers in my neighbourhood.

Thanks!

I feel your pain. I'd love to find a local writing group or even better,a local critique group.

Glad to have you :) Look at the writer's workshop if you have works to be critiqued. Next best thing to having peer writers in your neighborhood.

I misspoke. A critique group is definitely what I want. Thanks.

Whatever you decide on crit here, look forward to interacting.

And yes Chuck's article was great, definitely a rarity in the online world.
