Hi, i'm vespr, female, chinese, born and bred in asia. :)

i don't know if this is already done - if so, direct me to it - but i'd like to propose a group video chat feature, where everyone who comes and participates can see everyone else's faces. we get to talk all the same things we talk about here, with the added incentive of being able to catch all those priceless expressions people try upon hearing what you just said, before they rearrange their face in polite society, lol.

i am very droll sometimes :)

this would be great for me as there's only so many more words i want to see after my full time advertising writing job and working through the plotline for a YA book i intend to finish within the next six months.

*casts the line...

This is an intriguing idea, but Im completely ignorant of the tech that would be required. Isn' there some thing called kik, is that just one on one?  Can. Skype handle more than a one on one?

Another issue will be time zones, we encountered a lot of that "back in tha day" when a group of us frequented the IRC room. And we were all stateside.

Keep us posted.

this is the first time i'm hearing about kik. google search tells me it's a smartphone messenger.
it's ok i guess, if that works. only thing is smartphone screens are relatively small compared to the standard laptop's, so i can just imagine how much smaller everyone's faces will look like, all at once...

just found out multiple group chats on skype is possible if one of the participants have premium membership.

hmm, you're right about the time zones, though...
