That's a good first publication to have. Word Riot is legit.

Hell yeah, I was happy for a week when it got accepted, seeing it in print is a great feeling. Where did you get published?

Thanks all, this is really exciting for me.

I have a story in the current issue of Alliterati Magazine which is a pretty cool place to be featured (I mean, of course I would say that, but seriously, check it out).

Now that it's happened though, I went out to get a tattoo to celebrate, found out another story I've been submitting will have a home on Solarcide...and now I am realizing that the real work has begun. Don't want being published to be something that happened a couple times a long time ago...ya know? So here's to the hard work to come!

Yeah, when I got the email that my work got accepted I was so happy and excited, and then I realised that a publication is meant to be followed by another one. But in the end that's what we're aiming for, daunting as it is, so go big or go home, right?!
