My top three listened to artists are Leonard Cohen, Nick Cave, and Tom Waits. When I was younger I used to listen to almost anything, as I've gotten older I would consider my taste more refined. It's rare that I listen to anything metal anymore, and Nirvana while having some original qualities just annoys me.
I guess I just don't like the smell of teen spirit ya'll.

Word to Cohen, Cave, and Waits. I'd throw in Lanegan, too, but that's just me.
Still. Nirvana was a great fuckin band.

Oh my god, Avery, that almost made me pee myself laughing.
I like Nirvana when I'm in the right mood for it, I don't listen to is nearly as much as I did when I was young and angsty, now that I am a grown up with only moderate angst, I still listen to most of the music I used to, but go through more cycles involving the aforementioned Waits/Cave etc, and lots of old blues, occasional flings with the Streets, Power Metal, 60's pop, foreign polka and finally back to punk rock.

I'm 34. You need to embrace the attitude, "I don't get older. I just keep getting more awesome."
