Different types of stuff? Different speed?

For me, I think my reading stays pretty much the same, but I'm curious, what with all the beach reads lists and whatnot. What are your summer reading habits like?

No. I might read more in winter just because of a bit more free time.

I get summer holidays, so yeah. I travel to the parents' place and tend to plunder their library for something off my radar. I also try to read one massive novel that's intrigued me each summer. Read King's It last year, Tartt's The Goldfinch the year before, Matterhorn, 2666, The Stand, etc. With long plane trips and airports, you can get some massive novels knocked out in no time.

Winter/summer difference for me lays into a place for reading. In winter it's more under blankets in bed and in summer I prefer to stay reading on a terrace or somewhere openair. The number of books I enjoy stays the same.
