Of the two very different styles, I'd usually chose something like Bones, preferring that kind of genre. Surprisingly I was more drawn to Emergency Exit. Both are well written and really left me wanting to read more. I found EE stuck in my mind more though. Two great stories.
I voted and it was close! I could elaborate but I kind of think that taints the jury. I'm one of the people who hates spoilers and people who keep talking when they think they are not spoiling. Because usually I have a brain and it works and it's hard to keep from putting the pieces together.
